Shared Governance is an organizational structure in which clinical nurses have a voice in determining nursing practice, standards and quality of care. Elected representatives participate in the following decision-making councils.

Nursing Retention Council:
This council identifies proven retention strategies, thoroughly evaluates our current retention strategies, considers what new initiatives might be appropriate to increase nurse retention and makes recommendations about needed actions for the future.
