As a UMHC nurse, you’ll have access to a variety of educational benefits and opportunities.
Free tuition for nurses
We believe that the best way to improve care is to invest in our people, and we strongly support your educational pursuits. So we offer nurses paid tuition for two courses up to six (6) hours per semester at any University of Mississippi campus, including University of Mississippi Medical Center. Whether you’re expanding your knowledge base or working on a Baccalaureate, Master’s or Doctoral degree plan, you’ll find a supportive environment that gives you access to courses taught by experts in their fields.
Scholarships for Dependents
Your children can also benefit from your involvement with UMHC. Single, dependent children of regular, full-time UMHC nurses are eligible for a scholarship covering half the normal tuition at any University of Mississippi campus, including University of Mississippi Medical Center.
