URC anniversary
The University Rehabilitation Center will celebrate its 5th year as an inpatient rehabilitation unit with an open house from noon-2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26. UMC faculty, staff and students are invited to the event in the University Rehabilitation Center on Lakeland Drive. Refreshments will be available.

UMC hosts blood drive
The Medical Center will host a blood drive June 25-29. All donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and have valid identification.

Locations and times of the drive are: 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday-Tuesday, June 25-26, and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27, between the School of Medicine and the Guyton Building; 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Thursday, June 28, in the MBS Donor Coach at the Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children; and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Friday, June 29, in the Grand Rounds Room at the Jackson Medical Mall Thad Cochran Center.
